FretPet 1.0 BETA 3
T h e " S e e k W h e n c e " R e l e a s e
by Scott Lahteine
FretPet is a guitar player's musical toy, allowing you to:
1. Build chords from scales
2. Generate chord harmonies
3. Assign names to chords on the guitar neck or piano keyboard
4. Create and save chord progressions and sequences
5. Visually analyze chords based on tonal relationships
6. Play songs through QuickTime or MIDI output
If you've used other guitar-oriented shareware programs then you
already know how dry, boring, and poorly designed they usually are.
FretPet seeks to remedy this situation by actually being fun to use.

Registration
FretPet Beta 3 is not limited in any way. There are no
nagging messages reminding you to register. According
to a recent scientific study this means there is 80% less
probability that you will pay because I haven't followed
any of these measures. Let's see if statistical probability
wins over our shared love of Macs and music.
FretPet has the following pricing:
$ 15 each for 1- 10 Single User Licenses
$ 10 each for 11 or more Single User Licenses
$200 each for Site Licenses
Don't buy 7, 8, or 9 licenses. It's cheaper to buy 10.
A Site License costs $200 (equivalent to 20 single users) and covers all
locations for your organization within a 160 kilometer radius of your site
(100 miles). One big advantage of a Site License is that you do not need to
keep track of how many people at your site are using the software. A
World-Wide License costs $400 and it covers all locations for your
organization on Earth.
Kagi handles my payment processing so paying for FretPet is a snap. Open
the Register program that accompanies FretPet. Enter your name, your
email address, and the number and type of user licenses you need. Save,
Copy, or Print the data from the Register program and send the data and
payment to Kagi.
If paying with Credit Card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to
Kagi. Their email address is <mailto:sales@kagi.com>. Their fax number is
+1 (510) 652-6589. You can either Copy the data from Register and paste
into the body of an email message or you can Save the data to a file and you
can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to compress the
data file, it's already pretty small. If you have a fax modem, just Print the
data to the Kagi fax number.
Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive
an email acknowledgement when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take
up to 10 days. If you provide a correct internet email address you will
receive an email acknowledgement.
If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the
Register application and send it to the address shown on the form:
